Historical Marker: Federal Expedition of John’s Island and the Battle of Burden’s Causeway

This two-sided historical marker is posted near the intersection of River Rd. and Plow Ground Rd. It’s not really easy to read these markers unless you stop your car; most drivers are whizzing past at 50-60 mph.
