You know it’s late summer in the Lowcountry when you see small (and even tiny) butterflies, and these orange butterflies with large white cloud spots on the outside of their wings.
All summer, the neon yellow variety, black and yellow, and yellow tiger varieties have been flying around.
These were shot with my phone at Freshfields Village. When I bring my DSLR I can get in closer to catch those cloud details on their wings.
